LaTorre was selected among 30 students to participate at the 2017 FIDM Debut Fashion Show. One of the highlights of DEBUT each year is Chairing Styles, a collaboration between FIDM Students from three majors: Fashion Design, Textile Design, and Interior Design. The participating students are paired in teams. Textile Design Students begin by designing a fabric, which is then used by Fashion Design Students to design a dress, and Interior Design Students who create a coordinating chair.
